I understand that in real life, good people don’t always win, and sometimes bad people succeed. But my question is: what lesson are the filmmaker and director trying to teach? Overall, I’d give it a 9/10. It’s funny because the guy is so entitled he doesn’t even appreciate the help he gets—that part is a 10/10 for accuracy. Honestly, I think Linda’s character should have been portrayed by an Asian or African actor; those cultures often have deeper roots in survival tactics, whereas the movie version felt a bit too 'soft' for jungle life. That guy’s character is a very realistic portrayal of entitlement. Regardless, it’s a great movie with a really unexpected twist.
